AZ

We departed for Arizona the day after Christmas.

We quickly left Christmas behind to eagerly see Grandma and Papa 'Son.'

A little over a week was spent in the desert

with special people and special memories made.

Including...

Ice cream sundaes every night at movie intermission.

A trip to In-N-Out Burger.

The reviews were two thumbs up.

More Christmas goodies and surprises.

 A trip to the World Wildlife Zoo.

A baby armadillo and albino alligator; sights to see.

This year both kids discovered they loved driving the golf cart.

The faster the better.

Despite iffy weather, the kids still went swimming 

and enjoyed every minute.

We enjoyed lots of good meals together.

 We played a couple of rounds of putt-putt.

Max had a lucky hole-in-one.

We celebrated New Year's by staying up way too late

and popping surprises.

 

January 1st =  our tradition of washing in money 

for a happy, healthy and prosperous new year.

 We played and learned new games.

Managed to do a little reading.

Enjoyed being together.
