Hooray, first day of school today!
First day of 1st grade for Carmen and Pre-K for Max.
Both were excited but a little nervous.
New teachers, new routines.
They both did amazing and enjoyed their first days.
Some good friends and familiar faces in Carmen's class.
Not so much for Max but he'll make quick friends, I'm sure.
I'm excited to see what the year brings for these two!

Anyway, just wanted to say how cute and adorable Carmen and Max are and how amazing you are to keep such a wonderful blog for all this time. Thinking how you were here a year ago and now it's a first anniversary for Alex and Janelle. I'll send you a text picture from then. So glad you were here to celebrate with us!!
