Patch

I was lucky enough to go to the Hands-on Fairbank Animal Farm and Pumpkin Patch not once, but twice this week.  Each of the kiddos had a field trip.  There were goats to pet, pigs to feed (who knew they ate apples), turkey's to gobble at (if you gobble at them, they actually gobble back), a horse, sheep, various ducks, a tour of a garden with sunflowers as tall as buildings and the largest green (and purple) green beans I've ever seen.  Besides picking out their own little sugar pumpkin, the biggest highlight for both of the kids was riding the school bus!  It was great to spend time with both of them and learn more about each of their school classes and friends.
