More Pumpkins

Another trip to the pumpkin patch today.  This time with friends.  Two more pumpkins, big pumpkins, added to the mix.  A tractor ride, a trip through the corn maze and of course, kettle corn, for our popcorn girl. 

Fall Festival Fun

Tonight was the Fall Festival at 'school.'  A chance to wear their costumes, show us their classrooms, say hi to their teachers and friends, see what they've been working on, get faces painted, play some games, win some prizes and eat lots of cookies. A fun time had by all!

Patch

I was lucky enough to go to the Hands-on Fairbank Animal Farm and Pumpkin Patch not once, but twice this week.  Each of the kiddos had a field trip.  There were goats to pet, pigs to feed (who knew they ate apples), turkey's to gobble at (if you gobble at them, they actually gobble back), a horse, sheep, various ducks, a tour of a garden with sunflowers as tall as buildings and the largest green (and purple) green beans I've ever seen.  Besides picking out their own little sugar pumpkin, the biggest highlight for both of the kids was riding the school bus!  It was great to spend time with both of them and learn more about each of their school classes and friends.

A fun Friday night with friends!  Lots of foam-pit jumping, trampoline bouncing, maze-running and getting just plain tuckered out.  A success!

This ones loves to climb.  'Ok, high enough' is usually what I end up saying as I shut my eyes and hope she doesn't fall.  So far, not phased by heights.  The higher, the better.
