Carmen finished her first week of camp. Superhero dance camp in fact. In the five days a superhero mask and cape were crafted along with other superhero-y things, dancing and moving ensued, daily playing of musical instruments was a hit along with a daily story she got to help create. Oh yes, there was dancing, moving and just plain being silly and having fun. In true Carmen style, she was super shy at the beginning despite doing the camp with her pal Maci. She warmed up some but stayed glued to her very patient teacher who happily tolerated her Carmen shadow for the week. But, every day Carmen would come home super excited about her time at camp and would fly around the house with her supergirl powers. The week culminated with walking in the Mountlake Terrace,Tour de Terrace parade. She got dressed in a batgirl costume and happily marched with her other classmates. She enjoyed channeling her inner superhero, waving to the crowd and handing out candy. All in all, a fun week!
Ready for camp!
She insisted on wearing this shirt almost every day.
