Pumpkin Bash

The Halloween fun continues.  We visited the zoo for the annual Pumpkin Bash event.  We saw a jaguar, otters and hippos playing with and eating pumpkins.  Its the very first time we've seen the hippos move. We did some trick-or-treating and Carmen was a happy camper with a purple sparkly comb and mirror and Maxy a wind-up spider along with a few sugary treats. Oh yes, and the free toothbrushes, those were certainly a hit.  There were crafts and activities, carousel riding and more looking at animals. Another fun day spent with the four of us.
