Desert Aire

 Second Annul Bos-Sim-Ski summer vacation!

This year we visited Desert Aire in central Washington.
We had a beautiful house on the Columbia river,
our own pool and hot tub, along with breathtaking views.

3 families -- 6 adults, 8 kiddos.
1 incredible week.

Kids had a blast swimming the entire time.
Lots of diving, back and front flips...for hours upon hours.
The dad's arms were sore and tired from throwing all of the kids.

They had lots of hot tub time, a trip to the park,
a trip to 'town', which consisted of one gas station with a mini mart,
 but it had tasty treats.

The dad's enjoyed multiple rounds of golf while the ladies
soaked up the sun, floated in the pool and relaxed.

Love these friends and our new tradition.
Can't wait to see what next year has in store!

The kid crew!

The adult crew!

Pool shenanigans.

Breathtaking views.

A proper ride to town for treats.

Girl time.

Boy time.

Best buddies.

   Love these ladies.

Flips -- front and back!

Thanks Desert Aire for an unforgettable time!

Still Connected

Carmen was over the moon to spend the weekend with one of her dearest friends.
They don't get to see each other that often, but when they do, it's always a fun time full of adventure.
This time, they attended a dog show (first place ribbons earned),
went horseback riding and even helped muck stalls!
Hooray for special friendships and connections no matter the distance.

Off the Field

These Celtic boys are aligned both on and off the field.
It was fun to take a break from soccer and get together at the beach.
Still the same fun, energetic, competitive group!

Weekend

This weekend we had to divide and conquer.
Carmen and I headed to Whidbey Island for two days.
Pool time, sunshine, lots of fishing, bracelet making,
Orca sightings and a ride on the dirt bike.
All in all, a perfect weekend with perfect company.

Max had another soccer tournament. The boys played lights-out and earned a spot to the finals.
Carmen and I came back to watch the last games and cheer the team on.
Unfortunately they fell a little short in the final game
but had an outstanding showing the entire tournament.
Proud of these Celtic boys and especially #27!

Staycation

We had a staycation of sorts this weekend.
Hiking in Duvall, which is a lovely quaint town.
2 miles in to a waterfall, 2 miles out.
4 kids, 4 adults, all fun.
Then, dinner, games and a sleepover.
Who says you need to travel far to have a good time!
