Today I got to accompany Max's Kindergarten class to the Pacific Science Center for a field trip. We rode the bus downtown, learned about and built tops, saw butterflies up close and personal, blew bubbles, learned about planets, saw dinosaurs and did many, many other fun activities.

Basketball
Carmen is trying basketball for the first time.
She was adamant last year she did not like basketball and was in no way interested.
This year however she was more open minded and decided to give it a try.
She is the newest member of the Shooting Diamonds.
She's only had a couple of practices but so far so good.
She loves her coach and her teammates and is really enjoying it!
It must be the new shoes...

SOCKS
We just attending the annual Sock Hop at school. An event the kids (at least Carmen) look forward to. There was food, cotton candy, music and a photo booth. Clearly, a fun time.
Socks are also collected at the event for families in need. It was overwhelming to see the generosity of the school community. Over 1,100 pairs of socks donated! The kids had a fun time sorting, organizing and counting them all.
