Weekend Away

We (the kids and I) spent last weekend away for some friend fun.  We were gone for two whole sleeps, which Carmen and Max were excited about.  This gave them a chance to use their new sleeping bags.  We headed to Deception Pass where we were greeted with sun and beautiful weather.  The kids all had a fun time Valentine Day crafting, playing on the beach, catching crabs and building sandcastles, riding bikes and scooters, watching movies and keeping each other entertained.  It was a great way to spend the holiday weekend and make wonderful memories with wonderful friends.

Thursday Rain

Today was rainy.  I was home with the kids and we couldn't figure out what we wanted to do or where we wanted to go.  Instead, we stayed home and created our own fun--riding bikes and scooters in the garage.  Plenty of play time and energy released in the comfort of home and without the rain. Yay!

Max of course wanted to squish it with his scooter, but I dissuaded him.

(And yes, I still make them wear their helmets in the garage despite their protests)
